Samsung could register in the first quarter a considerable surplus in retail of about 46 % in the field of A4-laserprinter and multifunctional machines in contrast to last year. Thereby the company is the leading one on the market regarding to this field. Steep 24 % market share and 115.542 sold machines speak for itself. And this during a time in which market trend is declining. A special plus was reached with multifunctional colour machines but also all other products showed a positive sales trend.

imcopex got recruitment. From now on Elaine Johann supports our purchasing department. The 25-years old has completed a dual study on the School of Business Administration in Hamburg and worked later in the Media Markt as an area manager. There she was responsible for the purchasing field and sales for new media. We are glad to welcome Mrs. Johann at imcopex.

The new allrounder MF 5680n from Sagem, convinces specially with its high print volume. A high speed 20ppm printer avoids long wait loops while its network connectivity enables a storage of documents (Scan to FTP, Scan to Disk), as well as an integration of the MF 5680n in your existing, installed (SNMO) Base. Due to the Companion Suite Pro you can request at any time the remaining toner quantity, digitize colour prints and also simply control received and sent faxes and SMS.

When Petra Kramp came at the age of 26 to imcopex, she had gained lots of experience in different big companies. imcopex at this time was still small and had only seven employees. Petra Kramp started in the field of logistics and sales, enlarged her working field after short time to the field of accountancy. Little later the engaged allround talented grew up to a essential corner pillar in organisation. In 1991 she became a shareholder of the company. While imcopex grew up steadily Petra took over all administrative business until removal. Later one decided to assign Petra all important strategic fields like finance and human resource management. Accompanied to this was her upgrading in 2005 to become an authorised officer. Also through Petra Kramp imcopex grew up to a healthy and sound based company. We are aware of her benefit and are glad looking forward to plan and realize further important milestones together.

Not for the first time producers increase prices within a few weeks for consumables. At the beginning of March 2009 Canon, Ricoh and Utax announced the next round, now Konica-Minolta, Develop and Oki retighten at April.

Full of suspense we expected this year´s Paperworld in Frankfurt on the Main . A shortening for one day as well as the removal to other weekdays changed the procedure of last years but all vistors accepted it affirmatively. The new universal printer cartridge BlueCart 17 XL U can be used for four different original types of cartridges (TK-17, TK-18, TK-100 and TK-120). imcopex customers can drastically reduce their procurement and logistics costs with this product. We welcome a new member to our team: sales professional Dirk Schipper. Though his main job is to sell consumables, the 44-year-old is also responsible for realising special projects and exploring new business areas. Due to his broad and versatile experience, Mr Schipper is well-qualified for this. After his business training, he was in the advertising-media business for many years, twelve of which he was self-employed. Furthermore, he distributed gift articles to retailers and wholesalers all over Germany. Dirk Schipper is married and has a son.

One of the biggest nuisances of modern communication is the everyday flood of spam emails. The inbox of your email programme is overflowing but only very few emails really are of interest. For the second time, imcopex was an exhibitor at the RechargEast in Moscow. Paperworld 2007 was a great success for imcopex. Despite the fact that fewer visitors attended the trade fair this year, we had the pleasure to welcome more guests than ever to our booth. Numerous established specialist dealers and wholesalers came with concrete purchase requirements, and there was a striking number of foreign visitors. In our conversations, the customers’  explicit requirements became apparent. The wish to get everything from one source and to have user-friendly online solutions at hand ranked high among these. We are happy to say that ,for a long time, we have been able to provide first-class service regarding both points. The imcopex web shop met with particular approval , and many people immediately registered for it at our booth. Massimo Cadinu, imcopex managing director, also looks back on Paperworld 2007 with full satisfaction. “It is very pleasing to feel confidence again. It was almost like the spirit that prevailed during the football world cup. All visitors to our booth were relaxed, in a good mood, there was zest for action and a positive trend”, Cadinu said.

It was ten years ago that I came from Munich to Hamburg to start a job at imcopex. I meant to stay two years at the most. In the beginning, many things were different. The company was bursting at the seams, and toner cartridges were piling up even in the kitchen. There was so much to do that I had to go myself and buy a desk, chair and telephone on my first day. They were marvellous times! In the very same year, we moved into our new company building and became not only one of the most successful but also one of the most modern companies of the industry. For me, the past ten years have been fantastic. I have been provided with everything I need to be successful; I work in a great team and with great customers. I would like to thank everyone, who has supported me during these last ten years. I’m looking forward to the next ten!

For the second time the RechargEast Trade Show was located in Moscow,  the heart of the Russian Federation. From the 23^rd till 25^th May, more than 2.300 business visitors came to the exhibition for office supplies. imcopex exhibited the first time at  the ReachargEast. It was a very good trade fair to meet customers and to establish new contacts from Russia and Eastern Europe. Managing Director Massimo Cadinu looked on the results with satisfaction: „A very well-organised trade fair.  A large number of new quality contacts in Russia and Eastern Europe was made." 

One year after imcopex was appointed official Oki distributor, one thing is certain: our common commitment to quality and good performance pays off. After the great success in 2005, imcopex was an exhibitor at this year’s trade fair in Dubai as well. The GITEX is not only the biggest and most successful computer and communication trade fair in the entire Middle East but it is also the region’s biggest trade fair of any kind . The fair was opened by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Defence of the UAE  und crown prince of Dubai. If you take a look at the numbers and figures related to this fair, it quickly becomes clear that the region has an enormous growth potential: on its 25th anniversary,  the fair recorded more than 120.000 professional visitors and the number of exhibitors rose by 24% compared to the previous year. imcopex has already been affiliated as an established member and was not only able to expand existing connections but also make a lot of new contacts throughout the region. The number of new contacts increased by 58%;some of them have already become new trading partners of ours.  This year, the imcopex Dubai team consisted ,amongst others, of Rainer Romboy -for business contacts in the Middlle East- , imcopex marketing manager Sven Ditz and  Ms Tatjana Schmick -for the large number of enquiries from Eastern Europe and Russia. The importance of the region for imcopex’ s  further expansion shows in the fact that both of the managing directors were present. At the end of the GITEX, Stefan Bode and Massimo Cadinu agreed: „This booming region is top priority for imcopex  and that’s why we have decided to get involved ourselves.“

After last year’s great success, imcopex will exhibit at the GITEX 2005 as well. The GITEX in Dubai is the largest and most successful international trade fair for computers and communication in the Middle East. Being present in Dubai, which is the economic hub of the entire region and of the world’s third-largest re-export centre, means pushing international expansion further forward. And imcopex´s  foothold in the Middle East has improved due to the imcopex network member “Media Brain Dubai”. In general, a strong presence at numerous foreign fairs makes a clear impact: the number of international contacts soars, regarding prospective customers as well as concrete new business.

Twenty years of successful growth on the office supplies market – this calls for a celebration. In this jubilee year we transferred our Christmas party to the Balearic Islands – to the Robinson Club in Cala Serena. After the imcopex team had been regaled with culinary delights, imcopex performance and imcopex flexibility were again the object of admiration – this time on the dance floor. Altogether a very successful weekend, and it has given all our employees positive motivation for a successful year 2005.

After three days of the Printer China trade fair, we can draw a positive balance. As the only supplier of original goods, imcopex was able to maintain its position in Beijing. China is a renowned centre for the production of compatible supplies, but in spite of this the demand for original goods has already reached a level of 50%. In China generally growth is proceeding at a breakneck pace, and the market for consumable materials is growing with equal rapidity. Our sales experts were able to use the trade fair as a platform for maintaining and developing existing contacts. The message for the imcopex team is unambiguous: stick to it and profit from shared growth.

Polygraphinter is one of the most important trade fairs for the printer industry in Russia. Our marketing experts with responsibility for Russia and Eastern Europe, Tatjana Schmick and Marian Mansfeld, made use of the fair to intensify their contacts with imcopex customers in Moscow, as well as holding meetings with specialists. We already have excellent business links in Russia, and it proved possible to extend these still further. Tatjana Schmick comments: "A major advantage in the eyes of our imcopex customers is the collaboration based on trust that we offer – and the fact that we keep up personal contacts and talk to them in their own language.” -jp

After the highly successful trade fair in Dubai in October, imcopex will also be appearing at what is the fastest expanding market worldwide, through its involvement in "Printer China 2004". This trade fair takes place in Beijing and Shanghai in alternation. It has gained increasing importance in the last four years, and has managed to keep pace with the immense boom in China’s printer market. With over 200 exhibitors from all over the world, this year practically all major global players will be represented in Beijing.

The office supplies experts from Hamburg see their presence at the trade fair as an entirely reasonable investment. “A strong brand like imcopex must put up an ideal showing in such highly interesting markets, right from the word go,” said Head of Marketing Jens Pernitt. Managing Director Massimo Cadinu cast another important aspect into relief: "In this way we can continue to intensify our Asian contacts, which have always been excellent in the past.” -sdi

After five days exhibiting in the United Arab Emirates, it was time to take stock: “The Dubai trade fair has been a complete success for us,” declared Massimo Cadinu and Stefan Bode, the two Managing Directors of imcopex, commenting on the GITEX. With more than 114,000 visitors, the Dubai GITEX is the biggest and most successful trade fair for IT and telecommunications in the Middle East.

The presence of imcopex in Dubai, the economic hub of the entire region and the third biggest re-export centre worldwide, and its success in establishing business contacts there constitute consistent steps in the still ongoing expansion strategy of the office supplies expert. “Further measures are already in the pipeline,” said Stefan Bode to the interested journalists on the fringes of the GITEX, but he wasn’t giving away any details as yet. relaunch.de is the central platform for the publication of new and revamped websites. Every month an award is made to the best relaunch in Germany. Websites are assessed under three categories: content, design and technology. The highest average mark resulting from all three determines the overall winner.

In September the entries for the competition included reputed manufacturers of branded goods like GARD, Peugeot and JOOP!, besides many others – the winner, though, was imcopex. Since its relaunch, further refinements have been added to the imcopex website on an almost daily basis. Besides the addition of new and innovative modules like the “personal catalogue” and new foreign languages, the presentation has been still further improved on the level of detail, while the content is being extended all the time.

We are delighted that our new presentation has met with such a positive response, both from the world of Internet professionals and from our customers. At the same time the award and positive feedback are a stimulus to us to keep on developing the website in future on an ongoing basis. Watch this space!

The relaunch went online today, all according to plan. An intuitive navigation system makes it possible to get to the content of the new Corporate Design quickly and easily. A flash-image film, special service features and a completely reintegrated content management system, to ensure that the content will be absolutely up to date, complete our customer-friendly presentation. Further service modules are planned for the near future.

The introduction of the new Corporate Design has now been successfully concluded. “Flexibility, seriousness, constancy and dynamism”: this combination of features is rarely found on the market, but it has characterised imcopex for the past twenty years. The overall image of the company takes this fact into account, and puts imcopex across in a consistently clear idiom of forms and graphics. The relaunch of the corporate website is planned for 28.05.04.

imcopex made a successful trade fair appearance at Paperworld in Frankfurt, presenting its vastly extended range of manufacturers and products to customers, suppliers and new contacts. Alongside our own display, a number of manufacturers who were not themselves present at the trade fair were given the opportunity of marketing their goods and services through imcopex.

imcopex is investing in the US market by acquiring a holding in Copylite ®. In this way the company continues its ongoing process of growth, and so will be able at the same time to go on extending its product range and expertise.
